1. Fluid Cleanliness Control
Maintain system fluid cleanliness to NAS 1638 Class 8 or better. Recommended filtration rating β10 > 100. Install a ≤10 μm absolute filtration filter upstream of the inlet port.
2. Inlet Line Requirements
Keep suction lines short and straight with adequate diameter—not less than the port size. Suction and pressure ports are arranged at 180°. The return outflow must be below the oil surface. Inlet pressure must be maintained between 0.8 – 2.0 bar (absolute) .
3. Coupling Alignment Precision
Ensure pump shaft-to-drive shaft coaxiality deviation ≤0.05 mm and angular deviation ≤0.5° during installation. Use couplings to compensate for shaft misalignment. Flexible couplings are strongly recommended. Avoid radial or axial forces on the pump drive shaft.
4. First-Start Priming Procedure
