1. Verify Rotation Direction

2. First Start-up and Priming
Screw pumps have self-priming capability, but ensure the pump cavity is fully primed before first start-up. Never start the pump dry—this will cause severe wear or seizure of screws and bushings.
3. Inlet Pressure Control
Minimum inlet pressure is -0.7 bar, maximum is 3 bar. Insufficient inlet pressure will cause cavitation, damaging internal pump components. Ensure suction lines are unobstructed and fluid viscosity is appropriate.
4. Filtration and Fluid Cleanliness
