• Fluid Cleanliness Standards: Given the precision clearances of internal gear pumps, system fluid must be maintained at ISO 4406 18/16/13 or better. We strongly recommend a 10μm precision filter.

• Suction Resistance Control: Internal gear pumps are sensitive to suction pressure. Ensure suction lines are as short as possible with adequate diameter. Never allow vacuum at the suction port to exceed 0.2 bar to prevent internal cavitation damage.
