Product Description
Product Overview
The TF Series TorqMotor™ is Parker’s medium-duty Low Speed High Torque (LSHT) orbital hydraulic motor family, spanning 11 displacement sizes from TF0080 to TF0475 with a range of 81–477 cm³/rev. The powertrain incorporates a patented 60:40 spline geometry and roller vane rotor set, with continuous oil flow flushing all spline surfaces to minimize friction and extend service life. An integrated patented high-pressure shaft seal eliminates the need for external case drain lines or check valves, simplifying circuit design.
This product is a drop-in interchange replacement for genuine Parker TF Series motors. Mounting flanges, shaft extensions, and port configurations are dimensionally identical to OEM specifications, enabling direct replacement without hydraulic circuit modification. Every motor is subjected to 100% simulated actual-load testing before shipment, ensuring volumetric efficiency, output torque, and sealing performance meet OEM technical standards.

Key Technical Advantages
1. Patented 60:40 Spline Geometry Drivetrain
The TF Series powertrain utilizes a patented 60:40 involute spline geometry that delivers substantially greater tooth contact area than conventional splines, enabling higher shock load capacity. All spline surfaces are continuously flushed with cool hydraulic fluid, effectively managing wear rates and extending drivetrain service life.
2. Roller Vane Rotor Set with Sealed Commutation
The rotor set employs roller vanes in place of conventional fixed vanes, dramatically reducing friction losses through the transition from sliding to rolling contact. Combined with a sealed commutation mechanism, internal leakage is minimized, yielding high volumetric efficiency and smooth torque output even at very low speeds.
3. Patented High-Pressure Shaft Seal — No Case Drain Required
An integrated patented high-pressure shaft seal provides reliable sealing across the full operating pressure range without requiring an external case drain line or check valves. This design simplifies hydraulic circuit routing and eliminates a common failure point associated with external drain plumbing.
4. Heavy-Duty Thrust & Roller Bearing Combination
The output end features a heavy-duty thrust bearing and roller bearing combination that provides up to twice the side-load capacity of previous-generation motors. Forced lubrication ensures consistent rotational precision and bearing life under demanding operating conditions.
Application Areas

Mining Equipment: Drill feed mechanism, mine winch drive
Marine Deck Machinery: Anchor windlass drive, mooring winch drive
Expert Maintenance Tips
Pre-Installation Inspection:
Clean all ports and mounting flanges with lint-free wipes or clean compressed air before installation. Verify O-ring integrity. Torque mounting bolts in a diagonal sequence over 2–3 passes to 68–75 N·m using a calibrated torque wrench.
System Flushing & Filtration:
Following initial installation or motor replacement, perform a system flush at low pressure (≤30 bar) for a minimum of 30 minutes to remove particulate contamination. Maintain system filtration at 20–50 micrometers. Set return filter bypass alarm at 3.5 bar.
Fluid Management:
Use anti-wear hydraulic oil with ISO VG 46 or ISO VG 68 viscosity grade (≈50 SUS at 54°C). Maintain fluid cleanliness at ISO 18/16/13 or NAS Class 8 minimum. Operating temperature should not exceed 80°C continuous; short-term peak up to 95°C is acceptable.
Spline Shaft Care:
Apply molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) fortified grease to the output shaft spline area periodically to reduce fretting wear. Inspect spline teeth for abnormal wear or pitting; replace the motor if wear exceeds 5% of tooth thickness.
Periodic Testing:
Check volumetric efficiency every 500 operating hours or quarterly. Test method: lock the output shaft at rated pressure and measure leakage flow. If leakage exceeds 10% of rated flow, internal wear has entered an accelerated phase — schedule service or replacement.
