The PBBB-LAN is a SUN Hydraulics pilot-operated pressure reducing cartridge valve engineered to deliver a constant reduced pressure at port 1 from a high primary pressure at the inlet (port 2). This enables multi-pressure circuits to operate from a single pump source with exceptional stability, very low hysteresis, and flat pressure-flow characteristics. Expert Maintenance Tips

Verify that the T-163A cavity is clean and free of burrs before installation. Tighten to the specified 20–25 lbf·ft torque only—over-torquing can cause distortion. When adjusting pressure, loosen the locknut, turn the screw slowly clockwise to increase setting, then re-torque the locknut to specification. Note that pressure at port 3 adds directly (1:1) to the valve setting and must not exceed 350 bar. Maintain fluid cleanliness at ISO 4406 18/15 or better and inspect seals periodically. If reverse free flow is required, install a separate check valve in the circuit. Use only recommended seal kits when servicing. After initial installation and a period of operation, re-check the pressure setting and leakage.
