The PAVC65R213, PAVC33BR42MP26, PAVC38R213 and related configurations belong to the Parker PAVC series of medium-pressure, super-charged variable-displacement axial piston pumps designed for open-circuit applications. Available in displacements from 33 to 100 cm³/rev, these pumps deliver continuous pressure of 207 bar (peak 248 bar) and speeds up to 3000 rpm (2600 rpm for PAVC100). Featuring a high-strength cast-iron housing and integrated supercharger, they offer excellent high-speed suction capability and volumetric efficiency. Expert Maintenance Tips

Verify shaft rotation direction against the pump marking before installation. Ensure adequate inlet-line diameter and shortest possible length; dual-inlet configuration is recommended for speeds above 2700 rpm. Drain line must return independently to the reservoir and never exceed 7 bar. Fully bleed the system on first start-up and use premium anti-wear hydraulic oil meeting ISO 16/13 cleanliness (preferred viscosity 30–50 cSt at 38°C). Periodically inspect the port plate and bearings for wear; use OEM-spec seals when replacing. After long-term storage, ramp speed and pressure gradually to avoid dry running. Adjust control cartridges and maximum-volume stops strictly according to original torque and sensitivity specifications to prevent system shock.
