Product Description
Product Overview
The ABT2-80-2R02-B50Z is a high-pressure servo vane pump from the ALBERT ABT series, specifically engineered as a high-performance oil pump for servo hydraulic systems. This series is the result of a collaborative development effort between Ningbo Vicks Hydraulic Co., Ltd., American Albert Fluid Power Co., Ltd., and the Zhejiang University Mechanical Control Engineering Research Institute, with core components imported from the United States.
The ABT series servo vane pumps feature a double-action and bi-directional rotation structure, widely deployed in servo hydraulic systems for rubber and plastics machinery, die-casting machines, shoe and leather equipment, forging presses, extrusion machines, bending machines, and shearing machines.
The ABT2 series covers multiple displacement options including 64, 80, 100, 110, 125, 140, and 160 ml/r. The “80” in ABT2-80-2R02-B50Z indicates a displacement of 80 ml/r, featuring a keyed shaft (-2 designation), clockwise rotation (R designation), and outlet position 02 (90° CCW from inlet).
Designed as a 100% interchangeable direct replacement for the original ALBERT ABT2-80-2R02-B50Z, this product matches OEM specifications in mounting dimensions, porting interfaces, and performance characteristics. Every unit undergoes 100% simulated duty cycle testing prior to shipment, validating volumetric efficiency, mechanical efficiency, and sealing integrity under actual operating load conditions.

Key Technical Advantages
1. Dowel Pin Vane Design for Energy Efficiency
The ABT series features a dowel pin type vane structure with high-pressure oil supplied to the pin bottom, resulting in low starting resistance, low current draw, and significant energy savings. The double-cutting edge vane design provides a wide speed range, excellent contamination resistance, and extended service life.
2. Double-Action Bi-Directional Structure for Rapid Response
The double-action and bi-directional rotation structure ensures smooth pump operation and faster servo hydraulic system response. With the coordination of high-pressure oil and auxiliary spring mechanisms, the pump operates normally at low speeds, adapting to fast/slow speed shifts, high/low pressure shifts, and right/left rotation shifts in servo hydraulic systems.
3. Adjustable External Leakage for Lower Temperature Rise
The external leakage and adjustable leakage volume design allows flexible adjustment based on component leakage requirements, significantly reducing pump temperature rise. The pump delivers minimal pressure pulsation under high-pressure, low-speed conditions for higher product precision.
4. 100% Interchangeability – Zero-Modification Drop-In Replacement
Manufactured to exact OEM mounting dimensions, porting specifications, and performance standards, this pump achieves 100% interchangeability with the original ALBERT ABT2-80-2R02-B50Z. No machine modifications are required—simply replace and resume operation, minimizing downtime and reducing maintenance costs.
5. 100% Simulated Duty Cycle Testing for Extreme Environment Reliability
Every pump undergoes 100% simulated duty cycle testing before shipment, validating performance under rated pressure and maximum speed conditions—ensuring long-term reliability in demanding injection molding, die-casting, and servo hydraulic applications.
6. Cartridge Kit Structure for Easy Maintenance
The cartridge kit installation structure enables repair by simply replacing the cartridge kit, making maintenance more convenient and cost-effective.
7. Low-Noise Design
Low-noise structure design with a wide range of flow options, customizable according to different requirements.
8. Flexible Installation with Strong Adaptability
Four different relative orientations for inlet and outlet ports (00, 01, 02, 03) provide flexible installation options. The pump housing features an Rc3/8 leakage oil port—leakage oil must return to the tank through this port and must not be blocked, or shaft seal damage will occur.
Application Areas
Injection Molding Machinery: Servo hydraulic systems for injection molding machines
Die-Casting Machinery: Servo hydraulic systems for die-casting machines
Rubber & Plastics Machinery: Servo hydraulic systems for rubber and plastics machinery
Forging & Pressing: Forging presses, extrusion machine hydraulic systems
Bending & Shearing: Bending machines, shearing machine servo hydraulic systems
Shoe & Leather Equipment: Shoe machinery, leather machinery hydraulic systems
Expert Maintenance Tips
Pre-Installation Preparation: Before using the ABT series servo vane pump, read and understand the complete ALBERT instruction manual. For first commissioning, fill the pump housing with hydraulic fluid through the case drain port—never operate the pump without fluid.
Drain Line Requirements: The pump housing features an Rc3/8 leakage oil port—leakage oil must return to the tank through this port and must not be blocked, or shaft seal damage will occur. The drain line should be arranged upward to ensure the sliding bearing in the pump shaft center is fully immersed in leakage oil for proper lubrication.
High-Pressure Oil Chamber Caution: The Rc1/8 screw plug covers a high-pressure oil chamber—do not remove, or a safety accident may occur.
Suction Line Design: The inlet line should be short and large in diameter, with inlet filter flow capacity ≥ 2× pump rated flow. Strictly prevent air suction and cavitation.
Coupling Alignment: Precise alignment between the pump shaft and drive shaft is required with minimal tolerance. After installation, manually rotate the coupling to verify smooth operation. The pump shaft must not bear radial or axial external loads.
Oil Cleanliness Control: Recommended system filtration not less than ISO 4406 19/17/14. Regular oil analysis is recommended with filter change intervals adjusted based on contamination levels.
Operating Temperature Control: Ensure the hydraulic system operating oil temperature remains within the recommended range (30–60°C) to prevent viscosity reduction and seal degradation from excessive temperatures.
Regular Inspection Schedule: Regular inspection of the hydraulic system and pump is recommended. Check hydraulic fluid level daily and monitor operating temperature, noise levels, and case drain flow regularly. Abnormal increases may indicate internal wear or seal degradation.
