Product Overview

The 4WE6J60/EW230N9K4, 4WE6J70/HG24N9K4 and 4WE6A/B/C/D/E/F series are Bosch Rexroth 4WE6 direct-operated solenoid directional spool valves. Nominal size NG6 (CETOP 3 / ISO 4401-03), maximum operating pressure 350 bar, maximum flow 80 L/min (DC) / 60 L/min (AC). Wet-pin solenoids allow coil rotation by 90° and replacement without opening the pressure chamber. Fully interchangeable with original NG6 interfaces, every valve undergoes 100% simulated operating-condition testing to deliver reliable start, stop and directional control in industrial and mobile hydraulic systems.

Expert Maintenance Tips

1. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and flat (flatness ≤0.01 mm, roughness Ra ≤0.8 μm); tighten M5 bolts to the specified torque (approx. 6–7 Nm).
2. De-energize before coil replacement and verify voltage match; coils can be rotated or changed without opening the pressure chamber—keep the connector seal intact.
3. Maintain fluid cleanliness to ISO 4406 20/18/15 or better and viscosity within 2.8–500 mm²/s to prevent spool sticking.
4. Cycle the valve manually a few times on first power-up to fill the solenoid chambers with oil; coil heating during continuous duty is normal.
5. Verify manual override function regularly; after long storage, test shifting reliability before applying full system load.
