• Ensure Unrestricted Case Drain Routing: The A6VE series generates significant internal heat. The case drain line must be routed independently and directly back to the reservoir without throttling. Parallel connection to main return lines will cause backpressure, which will instantly destroy the main shaft seals.

• Enforce Pre-Operational Priming: The internal rotating group is sensitive to cavitation. Always bleed the motor by loosening the highest case drain plug until fluid flows bubble-free before initial startup.

• Prohibit “Dry” Startup: The clearance between the piston slippers and the valve plate requires initial lubrication. Always fill the housing manually with clean hydraulic fluid through the highest drain port before spinning the unit to prevent surface scuffing.
