Expert Maintenance Tips:

• Case-Drain Compliance: The case-drain port must be plumbed directly to the reservoir with minimal resistance. Never plumb the case-drain in series with system return lines, as excessive backpressure will rupture the shaft seal.

• Start-up Priming: After installation, prime the motor housing with hydraulic oil through the highest case-drain port to purge air before start-up. Dry operation will instantly scar the rotor-distributor faces.

• Fluid Cleanliness Management: While orbit motors are more contamination-tolerant than piston pumps, maintain fluid cleanliness within ISO 4406 20/18/15 to prevent abrasive particulates from damaging the rotor slots, ensuring peak performance over time.
