1. Installation Precautions
CBW/CBF Series are uni-directional rotation pumps—verify the system’s required rotation direction matches the pump’s marking before installation. CBF-E25LPL’s LPL suffix indicates left-hand rotation.
Mounting brackets must have adequate rigidity and alignment accuracy; shaft concentricity error should be < 0.1 mm.
Suction lines should be short and straight to ensure adequate suction and prevent cavitation. Suction pressure must not fall below -0.03 MPa.
2. Fluid Management
Use anti-wear hydraulic oil (CLP) with viscosity of 16-47 cSt. CBW-F320 Series operates with 20-200 cSt.
Fluid cleanliness is critical—recommended NAS Class 9 or higher. Install suction filter ≤ 100 μm.
Long-term operating oil temperature should be maintained at 30-60°C, not exceeding 80°C.
3. Start-Up & Commissioning
Fill the pump with clean hydraulic fluid through the suction port before initial start-up. Never run dry.
Use jog start to purge air, then run under no-load for several minutes.
Verify correct rotation direction—incorrect rotation will immediately damage the pump.
For cold starts, run under low load until oil temperature reaches normal operating range.
4. Routine Maintenance
CBW/CBF gear pumps themselves are maintenance-free; however, regular maintenance of the entire hydraulic system is essential.
Regularly inspect oil level, oil quality, and filters. If abnormal noise, vibration, or flow reduction occurs, stop immediately for inspection.
Regularly replace return line filters and suction strainers to prevent contaminant ingress.
