Product Description
Product Overview
The F12 series is a member of the Parker F11/F12 heavy-duty bent-axis fixed displacement axial piston motor family. The F12 series shares the same 40° bent-axis design philosophy as the F11 series, featuring unique spherical pistons with laminated piston rings, and offers a displacement range from 30 cc/rev to 250 cc/rev. F12 motors are fixed displacement units that can be used as either motors or pumps in both open and closed-loop circuits.
The F12 series delivers maximum intermittent operating pressures up to 480 bar (with certain models at 500 bar) and continuous operating pressures up to 420 bar, with speeds up to 7,300 rpm. Core design features include precision gear synchronization and double tapered roller bearings, providing exceptional vibration resistance and high radial load capacity. The 7 or 9-piston design provides high starting torque and smooth motor operation.
Our product provides a fully interchangeable direct replacement for the original Parker F12 series motor, with identical mounting dimensions, port specifications, and shaft configurations. Every unit undergoes 100% simulated duty-cycle testing—performance-validated under rated pressure, peak pressure, and full speed range to ensure volumetric efficiency, mechanical efficiency, torque output, noise levels, and thermal characteristics meet or exceed original OEM specifications.

Key Technical Advantages
1. 40° Bent-Axis Design with Spherical Pistons
The F12 series features Parker’s signature 40° bent-axis design with unique spherical pistons and laminated piston rings. The 40° angle between the drive shaft and cylinder barrel axis delivers a compact, lightweight structure. The spherical piston design significantly reduces internal leakage, improves volumetric efficiency, and provides excellent thermal shock resistance.
2. Gear Synchronization & Double Tapered Bearings
Precision timing gears ensure exact phase synchronization between shaft and cylinder barrel, providing exceptional tolerance to high G-forces and torsional vibrations. Double tapered roller bearings deliver radial load capacity up to 1,900 kg.
3. Ultra-High Pressure & High Speed Capability
The F12-080 delivers maximum intermittent pressure of 480 bar and continuous working pressure of 420 bar. Maximum speed reaches approximately 5,500 rpm. The combination of high pressure and high speed provides exceptional power density.
4. Low Internal Leakage & High Efficiency
Laminated piston rings minimize internal leakage while delivering high overall efficiency. The 7 or 9-piston design provides high starting torque and smooth motor operation.
5. Compact & High Power Density Design
The F12 series features a compact design with excellent power-to-weight ratio. The high-strength cast iron housing provides outstanding impact resistance.
Application Areas
Construction Equipment: Excavator and loader travel drives
Road Construction Equipment: Rollers, pavers
Agricultural Machinery: Large combines, balers
Forestry Machinery: Feller bunchers, skidders, forwarders
Marine Machinery: Marine deck cranes, constant tension winches
Industrial Equipment: Fan drives, dust collectors, aircraft test stands
Expert Maintenance Tips
Shaft seals and all O-rings must be replaced after every disassembly.
Pre-lubricate all moving parts with clean hydraulic fluid before assembly.
Purge all air from the motor housing before initial start-up—ensure the case drain line returns directly to the reservoir with the outlet below the oil level to prevent air entrapment and bearing starvation.
Maintain system filtration at or superior to ISO 20/18/13 standards. The F12 utilizes precision-engineered spherical pistons and laminated rings—particulate contamination is the primary cause of premature scoring.
Monitor case drain flow regularly—an abnormal increase indicates potential piston ring or cylinder barrel wear.
Recommended maximum system operating temperature should not exceed 80°C; drain oil temperature should not exceed 115°C.
Weight is approx. 26 kg—use proper lifting equipment during installation and removal.
The F12-080 features SAE 6000 psi flange ports and ISO mounting flange—ensure port sealing surfaces are clean and undamaged during installation.
