1. Inlet Line Requirements

Keep the suction line as short and straight as possible with adequate diameter (not less than the port size) to prevent cavitation from excessive inlet resistance. Recommended suction line flow velocity: ≤1.5 m/s.

2. Fluid Cleanliness Control

Maintain system fluid cleanliness to ISO 4406 19/17/14 or better. Install a suction filter with β10 ≥ 100 and a return-line filter with ≤10 μm absolute filtration rating.

3. Coupling Alignment Precision
