The D3W series uses wet armature solenoids to directly shift the spool, while the D41VW series employs a pilot-operated design with a D1VW valve as the pilot stage to drive the main spool.

Expert Maintenance Tips
Installation Guidelines
The D3W/D41VW series can be mounted in any position. D3W mounting surface flatness must be ≤ 0.05 mm. For D41VW, use 4×M10×60 bolts (ISO 4762, grade 12.9) and tighten diagonally in stages to 63 Nm ± 15%.
Thoroughly flush all piping circuits before installation. Ensure no welding slag, metal chips, or particulate contaminants remain. Prior to first operation, circulate the system through a 10 μm filter element for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Electrical connections must use connectors conforming to EN 175301-803 to maintain IP65 protection. Control signal cables should be shielded, with the shield grounded at one end.
Routine Maintenance Procedures
Fluid Cleanliness Management: Maintain system fluid cleanliness at ISO 4406 20/18/15 or better. Check fluid particulate contamination every 500 operating hours and replace filter elements and hydraulic fluid when contamination exceeds limits.
Solenoid Electrical Inspection: Periodically inspect connectors for seal integrity and terminal tightness. Measure coil resistance and replace the coil if deviation exceeds ± 10%.
Shifting Performance Verification: Periodically check each position for smooth shifting and absence of binding. If shifting response becomes sluggish or internal leakage increases, inspect spool wear and fluid contamination levels.

Tank Port Back Pressure Management: D3W series tank port back pressure must not exceed 210 bar with DC solenoids or 105 bar with AC solenoids. If system return back pressure is high, inspect the return line for blockage or undersized piping.
