• Fluid & Filtration Standards: Excavator environments are brutal; strictly follow the 1000-hour hydraulic oil change interval. Use 10μm filtration to maintain ISO 4406 18/16/13 cleanliness, preventing metallic dust from scratching the pistons or valve plates.

• No-Dry-Start Rule: After installing a new pump, fill the casing with clean hydraulic oil through the top case-drain port. A dry start leads to instant high-temperature friction between the piston pair and valve plate, causing permanent damage.

• Case-Drain Installation: The case-drain line must lead directly back to the reservoir, with a diameter no smaller than the pump’s drain port. Never plumb the case-drain in series with other return lines, as excessive back-pressure can blow the front shaft seal.
