Product Description

Product Overview

The V/VQ series cartridge kits are core replacement components for hydraulic vane pumps, manufactured to original Eaton Vickers specifications. The range includes V industrial-grade and VQ mobile-grade lines, covering single cartridges such as 25V, 35V, 45V and double combinations such as 4535V, with typical models including 45VQ60, 35VQ38 and 4535V60A38-1CC-21. They offer full on-site interchangeability with genuine Vickers pump bodies.

The integrated cartridge design combines rotor, stator ring, vanes and valve plate into a single plug-and-play assembly, enabling quick replacement without removing the pump mounting flange or connecting pipelines, significantly reducing equipment downtime. Every cartridge undergoes 100% full working condition simulation testing before delivery, with performance fully compliant with original factory standards, making it a cost-effective alternative to genuine Vickers vane pump cartridges.

Key Technical Advantages

  1. Standardized drop-in interchangeable design: All mounting dimensions, port positions and fit tolerances fully comply with original Vickers standards. The cartridge can be directly inserted into genuine Vickers pump bodies without modifying equipment bases or pipelines, reducing replacement time by over 70% and minimizing equipment downtime for perfect on-site interchangeability.
  2. 10-vane hydraulically balanced double-acting structure: The 10-vane double-acting inner cam design ensures complete radial hydraulic force balance, eliminating extra radial load on the main bearing and controlling output flow pulsation within ±2.5%. The hydraulically self-compensating vane design automatically extends to maintain contact with the stator bore as wear occurs, sustaining volumetric efficiency above 94% over long service life.
  3. High-precision matched wear-resistant friction pairs: The stator ring is made of high-hardness alloy cast iron with a super-finished inner cam profile (Ra ≤ 0.4 μm). Vanes are made of wear-resistant copper-based alloy with optimized rounded tips for tight contact with the stator bore. Rotor and valve plate end faces are precision-lapped and matched with micron-level clearances, minimizing internal leakage under high pressure and delivering excellent pressure-holding performance.
  4. Graded pressure and speed for multi-scenario adaptation: Two configurations are available. The V series focuses on continuous stability under high pressure for stationary industrial equipment. The VQ series is optimized for high-speed operation, with the 35 frame reaching up to 2400 rpm, suitable for dynamic conditions in construction machinery and mobile equipment, enabling precise selection based on application scenarios.
  5. 100% full-condition factory validation: Every cartridge undergoes full-performance bench testing under rated pressure, peak pressure and rated speed. Core indicators including volumetric efficiency, internal leakage, noise level and temperature rise are verified item by item. All test data is traceable to ensure performance fully matches original Vickers specifications.

Expert Maintenance Tips

  1. Pre-replacement inspection and alignment check: Verify coaxiality between the pump mounting flange and drive shaft before replacement, with tolerance ≤ 0.1 mm. Inspect the pump bore for scoring and corrosion, and clean residual oil and contaminants from the pump cavity to prevent premature wear of the new cartridge.
  2. Air venting and no-load break-in after installation: Before initial startup after cartridge installation, fill the pump chamber with clean hydraulic oil through the filling port and bleed air from the suction line. Run at low idle speed (800–1000 rpm) under no load for 5–10 minutes, then gradually increase pressure and load to prevent dry friction damage to valve plate and vane end faces.
  3. Fluid cleanliness and media compatibility: ISO VG46 HLP anti-wear hydraulic oil is recommended. Maintain operating temperature between 20°C and 60°C, with a short-term maximum of 80°C. Oil cleanliness shall meet NAS 8 grade or higher. A 100 μm suction filter and a 25 μm return-line filter are recommended. Replace seals with Viton when using phosphate ester fluids.
  4. Pressure and speed operation guidelines: Continuous operating pressure must not exceed the rated value for the corresponding model, and peak pressure duration must not exceed 0.5 seconds. Maximum operating speed must not exceed the limit for the corresponding series. During cold start, run at reduced speed until oil temperature rises to normal operating range.
  5. Scheduled inspection and replacement interval: Check pump volumetric efficiency every 2000 operating hours. Replace the cartridge assembly promptly when efficiency drops below 90% or abnormal noise and pressure fluctuation occur. For extended downtime, drain all oil from the pump, inject anti-rust oil and seal all ports.
